This painting was at the Silent Auction at the Gold Medal Plates Canadian Olympic Fund Raiser. Since 2004, the Gold Medal Plates events have raised more than $8.2 million for the Canadian Olympic Foundation's Own the Podium program that helps top tier athletes win medals. The event was held on the 17th November 2014. I hope the painting helped raise some well deserved money.
