Painting with dramatic lighting as in this portrait is always so pleasing. It gives one the sense of mystery and suspense. You are also left wondering what the person is looking at. These small portrait are great to hand in hallways or going up the stairs. Hanging two or three together give a great grouping as well. They are great conversation pieces - you could tell people they are long lost relatives of yours.
