Well this is the first again. I have thought very hard as to what the first painting should be. First a bit of background. I have lived in Oakville, Ontario for most of my life. It is a suburb, 40km west of  Toronto, situated on Lake Ontario. If you visit Oakville you would normally go down to the lake and at the end of the pier is a small light beacon, most refer to it as the Lighthouse. So this is the subject of the first painting. Its is situated at the mouth of Oakville harbour and is a great place to go and watch the boats come and go. On a clear day you can look east and see the skyline of Toronto.

I also said that I would be giving away a painting once a week. That's true - on Friday the 30 July 2010 - the first person to email me after 8am (Toronto time EST) at robindailyartist@gmail.com  will receive the painting below.
