Portrait Challenge

Portrait Challenge
( 8 x 10 Oil on Board )
This painting was the first that I painted of this artist, I still don't know who she is.

Portrait Challenge No 2
( 10 x 10 Oil on Board )
This was the second attempt at this portrait.

I love painting portraits - I just wish like most painters that I had more time to paint them. I don't know who this young lady is, Karin Jurick split up all the photos and I will not know who has painted me until the end of the challenge. I did two paintings for this challenge. Why two? I always find the second one I do is looser and I am not as nervous about messing it up.
I am really curious to see what my portrait looks like.

All of these portrait will be posted at http://differentstrokesfromdifferentfolks.blogspot.com.

  3. AH HA - I found you! Great job on my portrait! I can't believe you painted my picture twice. Cropping in on the face was a good idea, it makes the composition much more interesting. Very nice!

I hope you like my painting of you. It was the first portrait I've ever painted. If you like it I'd be happy to send it to you when it's dry. Just let me know.
